JEFF ASTROF, "Having faith in Hollywood"
Jeff Astrof has been a sitcom writer for more than 15 years, working on such shows as "Friends," "Duckman" and "Grounded for Life." He is currently a writer on "The New Adventures of Old Christine" on CBS.


 

 Having recieved his Ph.D. in mathematical logic at Brandeis University, Rabbi Dr. Dovid Gottlieb rose to become Prodessor of Philosophy at Johns Hopkins University.  Along the way, he won a National science Research Grant and was published nby the Oxford University Press and various journals of philosophy.

 

Today he is a senior faculty member at Ohr Somayach Jerusalem.  An accomplished author and lecturer, Rabbi Gottlieb has electrified audiences with his stimulating and energetic presentations on ethical and philosophical issues.  He has been as chasid (adherent) of the Bostoner Rebbe since 1963.
